Don't chuck 'em in the bin for landfill at the end of their life, though if they live up to the hype that'll be a long time coming.

Seen usable LED replacements for GU10, MR16, GLS and ES lamps that actually do illuminate their surroundings down to £12.50. Still a lot for a single lamp, but a lot better than it was.

I wonder what these scientists would find in the residue, if they cared to pulverize a few everyday items? Let's think. Ohh yes, they could pulverize a CFL lamp for starters, then perhaps move on to a laptop, washing machine, or even a microwave cooker.

I think we all would of guessed, that if you pulverize a LED or two, it's not really a good idea to eat the bits
