Hi all,

My biassi's temperature gauge stopped working some time ago.

The hot water has got progressively colder over the last year or so and now I need some help! Can anybody tell me some likely causes.

I asked the local gas man (renowned for ripping people off) and he said I need a new boiler but that's not the answer I was looking for?

Thanks in advance

possibly the diaphragm requires changing or the diverter valve, Agiles the one to ask :)

It might be the plate heat exchanger getting blocked.

But without some diagnostic information and even the boiler temp on the gauge would have helped, its only a possibility.

You need a competent engineer! Thats one who can repair boilers and not just install them.

Very simple boilers to diagnose and work on but most of Wales is too far away for me to reach. ( much as I like the north coast and the mumbles area. )

Dont you get your boiler serviced each year when you can ask about any new problems/issues?

Tony

Is there any diagnostic information I could provide with some simple instructions from you? As far as regular servicing goes I've not been with the house this boiler is in for long.

Cheers,

Geoff
