Crosswater Thermo shower issue

A couple of weeks ago I had a Crosswater Thermo shower valve installed which i tried to use today for the first time after having just moved back into my flat.

I started filling the bath (not having a shower until the screen is fitted) which seemed to be ok until the hot water just stopped running.

A burst of water will come out occasionally when turned on again but the water cuts out straight away. Now no water is coming out.

The hot water supply to the wash basin and kitchen is is fine.

Help greatly welcomed

Have you got any non return valves in the pipework or the unit that could be sticking?
