Which Varnish

Hi and sorry if this has been discussed before.
I'm having a garden chalet built for a 14' pool and hot tub. It's all wood construction with pressure treated tongue and groove wood. Now builders have said we need to treat/paint with a varnish, I'm happy to do this myself, but what type of varnish can you recommend please and can it be applied with a spray gun of some sort? Chalet is 30sqm.

Yes the outside stuff has definitely got the greenish tint, inside not clad yet, think that is going to be pine.

It's only the outside that matters. It doesn't need varnishing.

Yes I think that is probably what they are getting at.

Something like this should do - but I've never tried it.
