There are moves afoot within the EU to effectively ban certain seeds for use by us.Some aspects of the EU I don't mind but this is sheer lunacy and I urge as many people as possible to sign the petion or send a e-mail ..

These patents are nothing short of a scandle lining the pockets of corperations like monsanto and making our heritage poorer as well as reducing boi diversity.

Vote UKIP or shut up.

The EU government is not interested in your silly little petition, peasants should know their place and not speak back to their masters.

It's anything but silly and as we will have to wait to vote ukip let alone see them in government some sort of immediate action is needed.

The more I hear of things like this, the more am I reminded of what life would have been like if the Germans had won the Second World War.

We are being dictated to by a foreign government. Admittedly, we elected a small minority of the MEPs, but not enough to make any difference. Worse still, our own government seems quite happy to sell us down the river.

I'm off in a minute to watch Newsnight, all the parties canvassing before next weeks elections, and yes if there is a UKIP candidate, he/she will get my vote, worst case scenario, they have no plans, does that mean Bristol will disappear off the face of the Earth??

I'm not surprised they (the eu num nuts) want to ban naturally fertilised seed. Most of them are shirt lifters or rug muncher and have to rely on artificial methods for fertilised seed.

There are some of us that are actively buying seed that would likely to become hard if not impossible to obtain should these proposals go ahead but if petitions make the politicians take note and try to stop this then what can be wrong with that?
There have been numerous attempts to prevent the selling of 'heritage' seeds in the UK long before the GM/EU monsters came along...

That's why 'Seed Swap' events are becoming increasingly popular...

immediate action is needed.

If action is needed, why sign a petition?

I do not want to talk to you!!
Ignore the f*cking Troll then!

I have just heard on the news that the UK voted against banning the fertilizer in the EU that many people think is causing a decline in the bee population!

Is Camoron and his cronies getting cash hand outs from the chemical companies?

I think its the pesticide called neonicotinoids.
Our fertilizer is sitting in the shed as the ground is sogging wet. Now considering flotation tyres.
This year is shaping up to be a lot worse than last year. Farmers are now at the point of letting their cows out unto bare fields.

You would learn a lot more if you read Farm Week instead of the daily sport or the sun.
