Hi guys,

After I recent burglary I am looking to install a burglary alarm. I have fitted Accenta Optima in the past but looking for something tidier so no pulling up floorboards etc. I understand the main panel will need to be main wired which is ok.

I am here to ask for any recommendations of any easy to install worthwhile systems preferably with auto phone call response?

Thank you

Texecom richochet -hybrid system can be wired or wireless and can use text, speech or app to communicate to your phone
Or
Pyronix enforcer wireless

Map security or Alert electrical will supply what you need.

Have a look at Honeywell Galaxy G2-12. Also hybrid, also has IP options. Panel and keyprox CP038 keypad about £70 new on ebay.

Hi guys, I have purchased the Pyronix Enforcer, just need to ask can I set this up before going on site? Also, Can I connect the battery in the control panel without the mains until I get to the site?

You could set up a temp mains lead with plug on to the alarm.
You could then program system and learn your devices and test system before you install system.
I would not learn the wireless bell to the system until you fit it in the final position on the wall at your property once you have finally tested system.

Did all this, I had it going, just difficult to set up and programme well from what it seems :( I want it done properly.

I managed to learn both keypads, the sensors did not even attempt, I will give it another go tomorrow.

Any tips for a simple installation? They will be one sensor upstairs and another keypad so I can set the alarm while I am in bed.

For what ? ....tennis ...lol
On a serious note I allways pre program enforcer panels , test apart from bell box so as an example
Contact on entry door set ABCD final exit, omit , chime
Pir downstairs , ABCD intruder , omit
Pir landing A CD intruder ,omit
A full set
B night set
This is very basic operation , every job is different with different layout and customer requests

ahaha.
Its so difficult, I cant even set the basics :( let alone actual programming the zones etc.

I think you already have. An installer in or around Birmingham is required. If no one has come forward you'all just have to keep searching. The problem you have now though is installers don't like to fit equipment already bought.

I was about to buy a pyronix enforcer thinking my DIY skills would suffice but after reading this I'm starting to worry it's a beast.
