I have no doubt that there will be claims and counter claims... In the end, I guess that the figure will be zero

I've seen this scenario coming since just after the referndum. At the end of the day, the EU will demans a high figure as a negotiating strategy, and we will pay a low one to let them save face, and to get access to the free market. Merkels getting fed up with Junkers, and as he's the main shyte stirer, he'll have to go before a sensible deal can be made.

And yet the Quitter propagandists are pretending that it already has, and that a figure has been demanded, and that the figure has increased.

Which is all untrue.

Aww, you poor little thing, can't you do your own research.

You play this little game of yours time and time again. Anything I give you, you then proceed to argue about, just to try and deny it. Everybody else is happy to discuss things, but not the great keyboard warrior. Oh no, he's got to show how clever and superior he is.

Maybe, just maybe, the Gas Safe organisation has a clause in their accreditation process that excludes anyone from exploiting that accreditation/registration to pursue their own agenda? Something about "bringing the organisation into disrepute" perhaps?
But you have the paperwork, and you are more than capable of interpreting the relevant clauses.

Maybe they have rescinded your accreditation? Perhaps your online behaviour is embarrassing them?

I am just guessing. But if my professional organisation was aware of my online behaviour it would not be acceptable.
Indeed, I was told, that if I wished to pursue civil action, I would be supported, not willingly, not eagerly, but I would be supported.
Rather than risk bringing the professional organisation into disrepute, I chose to separate my professional identity and to assume an anonymous identity.

You are not the only poster to claim some professional reputation, perhaps in order to gain some credibility, but when you represent a professional organisation in the process, you ought to ensure that you have their endorsement beforehand.

You made a statement, and cannot support it. So you resort to abuse!
Arse end's (and Fliarbrand's) MO to a tee!

So what, the EUs doing it as well.
Who exactly?
The EU is not a person. So name names!

If you can find where I have brought Gas Safe into disrepute then please feel free to show us, looking at my GS card it is still good and valid with regard to your professional body, don't you both work in parts of the web where normal people don't go?

Maybe, just maybe, .......
Maybe .....
I am just guessing.

If you can find where I have brought Gas Safe into disrepute then please feel free to show us,
I thought the "maybe"s and the " I am just guessing" was a clue.
I do not have such evidence, it is not my job, nor am I concerned to do so, to find any evidence.
It was just an idea based on a suspicion, which I opined, rather like all of your opinions.

You're right... It's not your job.

The anti-European lobbyists are working very hard to pretend that the EU has made a demand for E100m or any other figure.

It has not.

Must be followers of the Trump school of public misinformation. I wonder if they've been getting carefully target Facebook posts from the robots.

There is no exit fee. If there were it would be detailed in the article 50 treaty. The 100bn is to plug the hole in the EU's budget following the departure of the UK for the next 10 years (is my guess). Effectively they are saying we have entered in to a lease like deal where we must pay to terminate the lease early. Trouble is, the article 50 process is a termination for convenience clause, which allows us to leave. So its really more like a rolling tenancy agreement.

The EU has real problems without the second biggest contributor. Its very easy to get the remaining 27 to buy in to extorting free money. If it were me - I'd go hard brexit and use the 100bn to fund tax rebates and incentives to compensate businesses impacted. World trade rules would impact France, Germany, Spain and Italy more as we tend to export services and they tend to export goods. Its pretty easy to dodge trade rules with services and non physical goods.
