sexually assaulting an un-conscious woman in Singapore. They were on trial for rape but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of aggravated molestation.

Hoo Sheau Peng the city commissioner said there actions were reprehensible

Vu Thai Son
Khong Tam Thanh
& Michael Le

were jailed for between 6 & 5 years and are to be caned with up to 8 lashes/strokes.
 
The punishment is far too lenient for a crime of this nature.
 
in America, six months for that kind of crime is viewed by some as harsh.
