Down loading photos

When I try to down load a photo to DIY not it says it's too big.

What have by got to do. It's the same for my tablet and my phone

Tried both of them .

I'll try again as more than likely doing it wrong

open it in paint, reduce the size in that and re save.
 
How big is too big?

This one is 3840 x 2160
I couldn't just copy and paste - it took several seconds to upload - no notifications about anything.

What do you think of Noseall's block work?
I shall not use him again - he kept going golfing and skiing before it was finished.
 
Flickr is quite good for this as if you upload a photo, not only do you get a link, but you get half a dozen different sizes. The other tool worth downloading (if you are stuck with PC paint) is https://www.gimp.org
 
Is there a way to shrink multiple photos that are in a windows file on a laptop?

Rather than doing them 1 by 1?
 
yes - gimp has a batch function.

When you say file, do you mean folder?
