My favourite 18/8 stainless pan almost parted company with it's handle yesterday when the top 2 of the 4 spot welds came away. Luckily I spotted it before attempting to carry the boiling pan of spuds to the sink. Can't get it spot welded locally but there seems to be some highly rated metal/metal glues about with high tensile strength and temperature resistance. Has to be able to go in the aga oven so 200C/400F
JB8297 cures in 8 hours with 600psi at 400F seems the most suitable (JB8276 only goes to 300F).
Anyone any experience of using it or any other recommendations of glues or do I nut&bolt it?

Any fix will have to be mechanical to have any chance of working.

Pop rivets make a secure fixing. You can get a cheap gun and a few rivets for under £10

Such as THIS ONE

Only down side is the rivet is hollow so a bit of a trap for food debris. Needs a bit of extra care when washing up.

I rather think that aluminium rivets have some sort of chemical reaction when used with stainless steel. I am no chemist but. when I have used them in such an application they have corroded & broken within a couple of years.

There is the potential for electrolytic corrosion but the ladles I repaired many years ( about 30 ) are still in daily use and have not shown any serious problems. Once or twice a tap with a hammer was needed to re-tighten the rivets, Corrosion or mechanical strain ? Not sure which
