Apparently some people don't...

"Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey did not know what a Nazi salute was when he was charged with making the offensive gesture, says a Football Association panel...

Hennessey denied the charge and said any resemblance to the Nazi gesture was "absolutely coincidental"

Of course if you make multiple such salutes then it's all ok...

"The panel said Hennessey was "able to corroborate" his explanation with a series of photographs, including one that showed his right arm raised and left hand across his mouth in a "similar way" to the photo posted on Instagram."

It seems there is (yet another) problem at the FA !

I give it 6 hours.
Is that a prediction or a promise?

It would however be nice if once in a while you would venture forth an opinion on a subject instead of attempting to sabotage a topic...

Or is that asking too much?

I never knew until I was 27 that the sauwastika was a symbol of good. Yet I find it hard to believe a 32 year old didn't know what a Nazi salute is.

He should if found guilty be band from the professional game for life. Like any football fan.

An underground station near to me, Upminster Bridge, has a swastika incorporated into the tile pattern in the entrance.

did not know what a Nazi salute was

It was all perfectly innocent:

Hennessey said he "waved and shouted at the person taking the picture to get on with it" and "put my hand over my mouth to make the sound carry"

Yeah I believe that o_O
