A disabled man who starved to death after his benefits were wrongly stopped

After the election.

BBC "news" this evening talking to two men from Burnley on zero hours contracts and living in a bedsit. They voted Conservative and are looking to Johnson to resolve their situation!

Working poor voted for Tory, hope they get every cut in service they voted for.

10 years of cuts is not enough. With the new council funding formula these poor Northern towns will receive even less whilst the leafy shire counties down south will receive more.

Have to start somewhere, start by demonising the poor as scroungers and layabouts who suck money out of the system, foreigners are always an easy taget as they look different and talk different and why are they over here taking our jobs? Our bloody jobs that were our birthright!

When you hear about manual labourers on less than £10 an hour arguing against the minimum wage because someone at Mcdonalds would earn that and to them that isn't an honest graft viting Tory because as long as someone is worse off than them they have someone to look down on.

O fools! Have you read the linked article in the original post, i.e. the story under discussion? It says the man had been sectioned. I suspect you hadn't read it - you just had a knee jerk reaction to my comment.

Did you actually read my comment in fact? I wasn't being unpleasant, or pleasant, merely stating a fact. The old style psychiatric institutions should never have been closed down, leaving many unfortunates to fend for themselves on cash handouts.
