More new rules for wearing facemasks

Back in March this was a completely unknown issue. Now the world is a lot wiser so recommendations are continually changing as new methods are trialled out across the world.
It's now accepted that the masks help to prevent the wearer passing anything on, as opposed to original thinking of stopping wearers catching something. Now the laws of logic surely prove that that if you have an infection, (of anything that can be airborne transmitted), then the mask will help stop you spreading it. Also by wearing a mask you will then reduce your chance of inhaling any airborne droplets. Consider it like double glazing as opposed to single glazing.
It's not rocket science!

I wear a mask when using power tools to prevent breathing dust.

If masks only protect other people from the wearer (in some reports but not others) what happens if you wear them the other way round?

how do you know, and how do you know he and 95% of the rest of the population wouldn’t test positive with an antibody test. I reckon the majority of people have had it.

I was back at work in 3 days.
My work colleague took 4 weeks to recover.
All is known is that he had a lung infection of some kind.
