I have a Hoover w/m from around 2006, It has a burnt out PCB control module, Looks to me like a track has burnt through the board, no components burnt out.

It is a Nextra 6kg HNL 842

The boards for these seem to cover a wide range of models all looking the same.

I have looked at hoover shop and there is no PCB module part for sale for this model ..discontinued?

I looked and found evidence that these are sold as "programmed" and "not programmed"
This is not for my model but it illustrates the point, look at part 479 in the diagram and in the parts list: You will see programmed and unprogrammed.

So then I find pages like this out of stock - used
https://appliancespareparts.mysimpl...chine-41019595-main-power-module-pcb-41019595
But they don't mention in the page what machines it would fit if they had one in stock.

A search on ebay for 410109595 (the number on the yellow sticker) has one with the same number as mine on the top line of the yellow sticker (41019595 GIAS VS-043d) the rest of the yellow sticker is different.

This ebayer not only in Germany but accepts no returns, he says it is programmed and should work but that is not good enough for me. Programmed to what model?

Does anyone know how Hoover progams these boards? What does a service technician do with an un-programmed board? Is this just a lost cause and I have no chance of this board working and I should throw out the machine ?

Thanks
