Can someone advise me on a wireless camera security system please

If you want it to be very reliable and provide images of the people committing offences then avoid using wireless.
If you can get ethernet (LAN) cable to each camera and to a router, you do not need them cabling direct to the 'hardrive' (I assume server). The data can go via your network, assuming one cable from the router goes to the server.
