Actually, that's not our government - a lot if it is down to Brexit. In point of fact it's just like going back to the 1980s when without a passport, and in many cases visas, you couldn't go anywhere other than Ireland

"Natives"? Of which country? In my lifetime I've heard the same criticism levelled at Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and Edinburgh, amongst others - and yet some "natives" manage to do it. It's a fact of life - cities are always expensive to live in, and the nearer you live to the centre the more expensive it is - capital cities are the most expensive of all. It isn't a new phenomenon. Or do you think that it was cheap to live in Mayfair 120 years ago?

Yes, I fully understand why this will never happen, however I just think it's such a shame (massive understatement) that countries can't live at peace with each other and within the country itself. When you consider all the financial and human resource that goes into military stuff, wars etc.

Does the west always get it right? Far from it. However when you consider countries like North Korea, imagine what it would be like for them if they were open to the rest of the world and without the paranoia created by leaders that simply want to maintain absolute control.
