Kitchen tap not hot enough (Ed.)

Hello everyone,

I could use some advice on how to address a long-standing issue in our flat. Since we moved in seven years ago, I've been neglecting this matter, but I've finally decided to sort it out.

We have a boiler, as shown in the pictures. In the bathroom, right next to it, we have a nice hot water tap and a good shower. However, in the kitchen, which is in the opposite direction and further into the flat, the water is never warm, and the pressure is extremely low and unpleasant.

I'm seeking any help and technical advice on what we should do. Please take a look at the boiler photos.

That's your hot water cylinder not a boiler.
Looks like you've got pumped hot /cold to the bathroom .You could get it altered to include hot to kitchen .

Need a clearer picture in focus of around the pump.
There may be 2 pumps and one isn't working ,but I doubt it.

Yes only one pump ,and kitchen tap only on gravity flow. As said you would need to have hot pumped to kitchen.

I might install SALAMANDER booster little device but first will check my flow as very low and maybe not working even with the booster.

Probably need a negative head pump.
Is your cold tank just above your cylinder?.
If so water pressure for hot is minimal.

From your first set of photos it looks like you have defeated the cylinder vent - the top pipe looks like undersized 15mm and it loops down to trap air. Correcting this may improve your hot water flow to an acceptable value.

is that good for my lack of negative flow ? My shower is fine - its just hot water in the kitchen not flowing properly

Yes it will work fine ,but don't expect the same pressure that your large pump delivers. You would probably get around 6 or 7 litres per minute flow from the booster.
What do you get now from kitchen hot tap ? Run it on full for one minute ,into a container, and measure how many litres are in the container.

did it already - I got 750 mil per hour which is lower than minium requirements for salamander booster so I cant use it - they need minimum 1.2 l per minute
