Listen to Steve Bannon on this... he is behind the MAGA movement and talks quite openly about what he thinks of Elon and Silicon Valley and the threat level.

On AI, it's effects positive or otherwise can be profound under any party. My point wasn't specific to that but the wider socioeconomic impact a party has once in power.

People have been saying, on here included, that Trump is acting for Trump, not for USA.

Musk is a very handy tool.

At this point in the game, I am deeply concerned and I shouldn't be, I've been watching this space since around 2020. MAGA is a nationalist movement but Elon came in at a latter stage. It looked all good to begin with but now with the axing of so many jobs and installment of AI machines in their place, I'm not so sure. Trump needs to reign him in.
 
You seem to be just understanding that Musk wanted something for his support of trump and getting him into power.

Don't for 1 minute think that you have just discovered reality. It's been pointed out to you since before the election.

Elon wants to take us to Mars, that should have been the trade off. Not replacing average Americans jobs with machines.
