Zuckerberg, Trump, Musk. The truth.

so the US electorate were wrong when the economy was their biggest concern because their standard of living had dropped considerably despite seemingly being the envy of the world . ok

Trying to baby walk you through this has become tiresome. So I'm stopping. Just remember; no-one is a prophet in his own land.

What would you do with it? Are you mainly interested in living it up? Or would you prefer to give it away to help people? Or a bit of both?
It's all relative, however if I had billions I would take no greater pleasure than heavily investing in my local community to improve as far as possible the health, wellbeing and prosperity of local citizens.

It always amazes me when people say 'but what would you do with it all? to me that shows a distinct lack of imagination. You could give me billions upon billions and I could spend it no problem, see above paragraph.

And yes, I'd also splurge a fair amount on myself and ensure family and friends didn't have to worry financially.

I have always wanted to do the same. I wonder how common that thought is, and why most real billionaires don't do it.

You generally don’t get to be a billionaire without being a hard nosed tight fisted selfish greedy *******. Too many get set in that mold while getting there.

It’s like when people say "He could afford that the tight *******, he's got a fortune" when in fact he got the fortune precisely because he is a tight *******.

U ficko

America suffered a cost of living crisis due to post covid global inflation like every other country……Trump just used that as an excuse to blame Biden

Bidens policies led America to have the fastest growth and fastest recovery.

How is America the envy of the world……it has massive wealth inequality, huge levels of poverty, tent cities, zombie ghettos due to a pharma created opioid crisis……oh and millions of Americans either can’t afford healthcare or are in ruinous debt because of it.

Only a ficko would think that America is the envy of the world

Yes, I noticed that

To be clear, the US economy under Biden was the envy of the world.

But the USA also has massive systemic issues, which mean for many it is a pretty horrible place to exist.

This is yet another example of me being able to hold more than one thought in my head at the same time ;)

This bloke gave away 8 billion, none of the buildings, schools and universities he paid for have his name on them.
He gave millions to a university in Belfast and didn't even want a plaque on the wall to commemorate his donations.

You’ve changed your tune. You used to put it all down to Brexit and the Tories

Yup we should rejoin Single Market because leaving it is responsible for significant part of cost of living crisis.

I agree, the UK is certainly close to a riot: massive inequality, massive Tory corruption, massive cost of living crisis, Brexit failure digging in now

They tend to give away money to promote capitalist ways forward. Private ownership of assets and resources. A win win situation for them as they know they will get that money back from the system they promote. Economic pressure on others less fortunate. May work short term, but long term you adapt.

Some of them do. And no, I'm not getting into a discussion about exactly why they're doing it, tax breaks etc, I'm just showing that some do indeed give a portion of their fortune away.

inflation was 2.7% in November so your argument makes zero sense

you said "so the US electorate were wrong when the economy was their biggest concern because their standard of living had dropped considerably"

when you used the words "dropped considerably" did you mean just in November? :ROFLMAO:

You really dont understand that the electorate had it so bad for so long under Biden/Harris they couldnt wait to get rid of them she suffered because of her legacy and attachment to him as well as being a cackling fruit loop .
