Are you retarded?

Who is overdosing on fentanyl? - USAFacts

What country has the highest overdose rate?

By a substantial margin, the U.S. has the highest rate of overdose deaths in the world, followed by Puerto Rico — a U.S. territory. And while Scotland and Canada, the second- and third-ranked countries, saw decreases from 2021 to 2022, rates in the U.S. have remained high.9 Jan 2025

The ******* are the American policy makers who think controlling the import of fentanyl (legally or otherwise) will address rampant drug taking in the US.

Thats interesting, tne forum software allows tne word retarded but not in its form as a plural noun

I have to admit, Trump has made politics entertaining once again.
I actually agree with some of the stuff he comes out with but on other issues he is beyond the pale.
He even has own economic ideology, Trumponomics I think its called.
He accused China of artificially devaluing their currency to make their exports more competitive, to punish them he imposed tariffs, the tarrifs had the effect of depreciating the Chinese Yuan further which made their exports even more competitive, Lol.

They've been doing that for years. The Yuan can't be freely traded on markets and so the exchange rate is controlled by the Chinese Govt so they can de-value to their own benefit at a stroke. It's another reason China can hold it's 'competitive' edge.

Trump said:

"Instead of taxing our citizens to enrich other countries, we will tariff and tax foreign countries to enrich our citizens. For this purpose, we are establishing the External Revenue Service to collect all tariffs, duties and revenues. It will be massive amounts of money pouring into our treasury coming from foreign sources,"

But of course tariffs are paid by USA importing businesses and passed to the consumer

tariffs are a tax on American citizens

Trump is using tariffs to fund his tax cuts

but tariffs are a tax on consumers

so tax cuts will benefit the rich who are buyers of assets not spending

According to the Telegraph, Trump is threatening 20% tariffs on everything from the UK unless we get rid of VAT.

Yes, his tariffs are now not only based on tariffs imposed on US goods but also the tax regimes and difficulty to do business in other countries.

His bully boy tactics will now aim to change other countries tax laws and regimes as well. What a ****.

Other countries looking at their tax regimes - is that a bad thing?. I must admit I hadn't considered VAT as a tariff but for goods coming from a country without VAT, well obviously it is. The US and I believe Canada have local sales taxes, 3% in New York and 7% in California.
Exports from the UK to countries outside of the EU are exempt from VAT, so goods going to America from UK are VAT free.

I see that Trumps deportations have been 100% Latinos

No white European visa overstayers.

So it's just deporting brown skinned people

Fillyboy, gas112, Litefighter says thats fantastic
