I currently have Talktalk Fibre 65 (FTTC) and landline telephone.

Will the ISPs send out routers with a phone socket when they start providing the digital phone service?

Most routers already have the phone socket. If not, I’m sure they will provide one. I went from FTTC to FTTH and kept the same router. Just plugged my phone into an adaptor and plugged it into the router.

I have a combined vdsl modem/router but it has no phone socket so I'll wait for the ISP to send one out in time for the digital phone change over.

I'm content to keep FTTC service.
