It'd be a big mistake by Farage to actually gain the keys to #10. Boris de Piffle showed how badly wrong it can go when he became pm and Farage is cut from the same cloth. A good agitator but he'd make a lousy administrator. I almost hope they do win the next GE to show up just how clueless he really is.

I've said very similar in numerous threads. However not so much because I yearn for them to be shown up, more because they would then have to step up and demonstrate how much of their rhetoric is built on substance. I think we know the answer to that, however they would then have nowhere to hide.

no it wasnt a great start at all

it was a distraction, thats all it was

its only purpose was this:

1) set up illegal scheme to sent people to unsafe country
2) watch lawyers and supreme court fight against it
3) Tory govt then says: " oh look we cam up with a great plan but it was stopped by lefty lawyers"
4) the easily manipulated like Highway Man, scream "yeah lefty lawyers stopped it"

it was never designed to achieve anything

Not sure what the connection is. I won't be arriving illegally, expecting the French taxpayer to fund my lifestyle, wandering around in a bedsheet, crouching on a door mat en masse blocking les rues or contemplating any acts of terrorism. A person of my calibre will be a positive asset to the République française. (y)

Anyway, it's on hold for a while due to problematic elderly parents. Hope to be back on track in autumn, as the house I was hoping for fell through earlier in the year.

This is what gets people’s backs up about those that earn a living defending these undesirable asylum seekers.

I wonder what Ms Green's attitude would have been had she been raped by someone who was uneducated about the significant cultural difference between the U.K. and Afghanistan?

If that’s the cultural attitude of the average Afghani, they should not be allowed into this country in the first place.

His reasoning is either bullsh1t or not. And as you say, if not i.e. in his country they deem it okay to rape women and girls, then I'd also assert we don't want them in the UK full stop.

Five years is a long time though and while I agree with you on one level, it's not worth the damage that tnuc and his bellend cronies would do to the UK, just to show him up.
