Two-tier justice.

It isn't really the same thing. The CPS didn't let him off. He was prosecuted and he opted to take his chance with a jury. That is the British way. The jury found him not guilty. Lucy Connolly had the same opportunity to face a jury. She pleaded guilty instead.

Doesn't seem right to me, but what do I know...

She was probably advised to do that for a more lenient sentence

It is appalling for the Tories to call this two tier justice. They are essentially stirring up racial hatred.

The British legal system was followed exactly as it should have been.

I don't understand how he got off either.

But I have never been that interested in criminal law. I know it is often extremely complicated.

It only took the jury half an hour to find him not guilty. It sounds pretty clear cut.

I recall been on leave from the army and I was walking towards my home from the train station and noticed a mate of mine sitting in a bus shelter. I went over to him and we sat chatting for ages, it got to about midnight and I said I have to get home so we stood up. With that a police car flew up to the bus stop and two coppers jumped out and asked what have we been up to. Explained we were sat chatting and on our way home, one off the coppers said they have had a report of two males fitting our description that was causing a nuisance and had thrown stones at a house window. An argument developed and we sort of got into a bit of a situation were we were arrested and charged with breach of the peace. In court an officer said he approached us and we were obviously drunk and had glazed eyes. OMG I sort the advice of a solicitor and he said just plead guilty at court as the fine would be a lot cheaper. So I got a record for being drunk and disordely and I hadnt had a drink. Pathetic and ridiculous how bad legal advice can get an innocent person convicted of a crime they did not commit, also shows how the police lie and make up evidence that did not exist.
