Beko integrated tumble dryer - Help needed with fitting cabinet door please

Hi All,

Our Beko integrated heat pump tumble dryer is around 3cm taller than all our other integrated appliances and therefore I need to fathom a way of fitting the cabinet door to the hinges they supply by drilling new holes in the door. I already had to remove a decorative pelmet in order to slide the dryer into the space then refitting it after but I need some advice on how to use the paper template they provide.

You're meant to hold the door up to the level you'd like then make a mark on the door in line with the top of the machine. Then draw a horizontal line across the door from this mark. Then stick the paper template on this line and cut our the hinges. My problem is the machine is higher than the top of cupboard door. I can remove the decorative pelmet to gain access to the top of the machine but this is where I get stuck. I don't know what I need to do and the door is quite heavy to hold it there in place for any length of time.

You'll have to drop the hinge holes on the cupboard door by the distance required to fit the door in the cabinet while matching the appliance. Fit the hinges to the appliance and mark the new holes on the door, using the hinge as a guide, Trend do a centring dill which automatically centres the hole. There should be some adjustment in the hinge settings but try to be as accurate as possible. Various jigs are available from Amazon to get everything square and the correct distance from the edge if the paper template doesn't work.
