Hamas tentatively agreeing to Trumps plan but with some minor adjustments to detail (??), they agreed to a hostage release and agreed to disarm. In the meantime Trump has ordered Israel to stop the assault on Gaza.

Yes the general consensus seems to be they're closer now then ever before, the coming days and weeks will tell I suppose.

If it was possible to speak to Hamas leaders and get a truthful answer from them, I wonder what they would say re what/who was the main contributing factor to them considering to lay down their arms.

Surely the high majority of it must be down to Trump? I wonder how much they would put it down to Europe and our condemnations, marches etc?
