Return it to the nation, and we're one government away from flogging the lot to private equity / oligarchy.

Not a great fan of the royals. Liz was okay but this latest shower dont do it for me. I think its time they looked after themselves, paid taxes exactly like the rest of us and paid for their own property repairs or gift it to the nation.
The earlier statement (post #13) about bringing in more than they cost was evidenced by the word ESTIMATED which makes the point. Nobody knows because they don't publish all the figures.
The Queen of the Netherlands passed me once (Beatrice?) outside the museum in Amsterdam. She was riding a bike alongside her two body guards. Cant ever imagine any of our lot doing that.
Time we moved into the 21st century, serfdom is over and they should take their chance along with the rest of us.
