Hi all.

My son decided to lie leaning against a trv valve this morning. He seemed to have knocked it loose, the valve head itself was turned, the trv was sitting at an angle and the grey locking ring was retracted upwards into the valve body.

I've tried to reset it, I've twisted the trv round and tightened the grey locking ring. There's still side to side movement of the valve as if it's not fully secured.

Is there much risk of a leak from this?
I'm not sure the make up of these as I know they are separate from the fixings. Is it an issue if these are knocked loose, not fully secured etc? Basically how delicate are they

Thanks

Turn it to maximum, slacken dark gray section, push it down so it’s square and tighten dark gray section
Thanks that seems to have stopped the movement. Much appreciated.

I'm terms of this type of situation , is there much chance of having caused much of an issue / risk of leaks etc?
