Does this speed fit need any work?

Hi, I spoke to someone recently whose house had been flooded by speeddfit pipes.
Apparently they hadn’t had enough pipe clips.
On looking under my sink the clips aren’t attached, they are mostly loose from the hardboard backing.
The pipes also look a bit out of line.

Is there anything I should do to ensure they won’t fail?

Hmm. I've seen some crazy ropey installs with no clips hold for years before now. The ones that fail are the ones where no inserts have been used or pipe ends have been left sharp and have cut the seals in the fittings when assembled. You'd need to disassemble your pipework to verify either of those things
