when these Iranian commentators tell you that Hospitals & schools are targeted, & hundreds of girls are killed is just bull. The facts are that Iran has been behind most Islamic terrorist groups, they murdered thousands of their own people, trust your eyes when you see thousands on the streets cheering the death of a mass murderer.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

And "us" destroying hospitals and schools does somewhat damage our claims to moral superiority.

I'm not so sure UK is behaving legally. UK was under no imminent threat from Iran.
UK, per se, is still under no imminent threat from Iran, only its military participating in the attack, or placed in harm's way in US bases.

If the initial attack was illegal, it doesn't become legal because the 'victim' retalliates.

If a robber breaks into a house, it doesn't become legal because he's confronted and meets reasonable force.

Or someone in a pub whose mate has just punched someone can't punch him as well because he now fears getting punched as it was his mate who started it.
