State Dept. tries to shield X from British probe into AI porn scandal

This is from MS today.
Yanks should get Epstein scandal sorted instead of telling rest of the world open flood gates to child porn acceptance. Strange they have ‘In gods we trust’ on their currency yet no bottle to tackle the pedos in government and such high places

The EU is strong enough to resist the demands of foreign oligarchs. If necessary it can oblige them to obey EU laws if they want to do business in the EU.

It is even strong enough to make foreign multinationals pay tax if they want to do business in the EU.

We all know now that capitulation to the angry toddler does not appease him for long. A strong and forceful response gets you a Taco.

We threw away our right to mould EU policy, but perhaps we will be able to ride on their coat-tails.

I can't see the tariff rate for AI porn.

So your post has no relevance to this thread,

The irony

How is this relevant to AI image generation?

In other news:
The EU has several tools at its disposal, but they do not seem to be sufficient to prevent such abuse.

Looks like the EU lag the UK... again.

I see you haven't grasped that the EU, or the UK, can pass laws restricting the sort of AI porn that it refuses to accept.

The EU is strong enough to enforce its laws, even against foreign oligarchs.

Perhaps you're just a bit dim,

UK has done it (y)
EU hasn't (n)

So...
We threw away our right to mould EU policy, but perhaps we will be able to ride on their coat-tails.
there doesn't seem to be any coat-tails worth riding.

Well done for pointing out a Brexit benefit: Ability to make our own laws

Actually as a matter of fact, as a sovereign country within the EU the UK could always make it's own laws...

If the UK chose to sign up to mutual agreements (which it helped write) for the common good then that was also it's choice...

The UK as with any other EU nation could negotiate 'opt outs', and many did...

Brexiteers always deny these facts...

In the same way as they deny that brexit tanked the UK economy to the tune of £90bn+ a year...

So you go on and fill several pages with arguments to the contrary that have been trashed time and time again...

Have fun ;)

Perhaps you are aware of the EU coat-tails we should be riding on?
