It was the mid 80s and I know nothing about bikes. Also, it seemed a bit illegal!

Pubs were packed out and hardly a table free outdoors. Luckily a bar we went to was heaving as we entered, all of a sudden the beer garden emptied as we all got our drinks and headed outside. Talk about good timing.

As long as the group use a marking system for navigation, then the hot heads basically end up sat at junctions marking a turn.

In the 80s the GPZ900 “top gun” bike was the “insane” speed bike of the day. Topped out at about 140 ish with skinny tyres. Nowadays the fast bikes are restricted to 186mph. An average 600cc sports bike will do 160mph.
