Hunt for a Van

Why don't you try an EV van on lease for a couple of years to see how you get on with it, some bargains to be had, ie yesterday a new Mercedes Citan EV van was available for only 59 + vat per month, with 1150 up front, a total of 3000 pounds for 2 years driving(y)
do you have a proper link (not one to ****tonheads) cheapest I can find is £200 + vat per month

and far the Vito (more the size Elsa is wanting) £588 + vat a month, cheapest EV

and @Elsa TLC if you can't charge at home, don't bother with an EV, especially one with a small battery, you would be spending your life getting it charged up, and it wouldn't be much cheaper than diesel

lets say you get 2.75miles per kWh and you are paying 45p per kWh (16.4p per mile)
thats equiv to
diesel van getting 51 mpg (based on 1.85 per litre)

EV van is only working for me as I plug it in at night and paying 7p per kWh

Thats what I was thinking.

I have got council land on the side of the house. And I could park and plug it in last thing at night. Im out about 5³⁰.
Everyone else parks on the grass.
But not worth the sneaking around ..

I was hoping someone would do the mathematics for me.

You’re seriously thinking of buying/leasing a new or nearly new EV vehicle on the basis that you have a piece of council land on the side of your house that you can park it on illegally to charge it up? You’re clutching at straws now.

No....thats why I'm not considering it.
Your doing a Billy

I like these. 5 year warranty, and a nice van for the family.

My main concern is thst its a Diesel.
I think i can adapt to a smaller van.

Grey Nissan Primastar for sale for £27,750 +VAT in WAKEFIELD, WEST YORKSHIRE https://share.google/BNyDyJV5uT9JIKHwm

The way Im thinking is that my work has changed and I dont need such a big van.

I wont drive anything but Auto now.
reading your comments about less SE work and reducing the number of your vehicles to one I'd say this is the one to go for..

I’m confused. Why are you asking people to do the maths for an EV if you are not considering getting one?
I had thought about if it was feasible charging from Sainsbury's.

Thank you Fred.

Always liked these. People have said they are not as well built as they where a few years back.
