Everybody in the world apart from you and your destructive allies here, including the compilers of dictionaries.
Do an internet search if you want to know the truth.
[You won't, because you don't]
By YOU, maybe, but you don't particularly matter.
I matter as much as you.
You don't seem to care what rules or norms you break, judging by what you post.
I break no rules, or at least not as much, or as often, or as blatantly, as many others.
And the only "norm" I break is the apparent one which is that some people here must not be criticised, nor ever asked to prove the truth of their claims.
You CONSTANTLY post irrelevant twaddle
You're entitled to that opinion.
What you are not entitled to do is to say that because you think it's twaddle I must be posting it cynically just to anger people and provoke emotional responses for my own amusement.
Common sense provides a limit but that's something you don't have
What's the common sense limit for, say, Spline's racist/Islamophobic posts? Has he reached it yet?
Sometimes you have to pick up what someone means , beyond the words they use.
Like you do when you accuse me of trolling? You're not a good example of how to deal with opinions which run contrary to yours.
Nobody wants some boring person always trying to "expose" what HE thinks might not be quite right. or what he thinks he can contrive into a criticism.
It is everybody's responsibility to challenge anything provably wrong, or to ask for proof of things they think could well be wrong.
Everybody's
All the time..
You've done it to me, but you do it repeatedly to everyone else as well.
If people repeatedly post things which are wrong, I will repeatedly post proof that they are wrong.
If people repeatedly post things which require proof, I will repeatedly ask them to provide that proof.
If people repeatedly post opinions with which I disagree, I will repeatedly post my disagreement.
The way to cut down on all that is for people to stop posting things which are untrue, to stop making claims which they cannot prove, and to stop thinking that their opinions are sacrosanct.
The way to cut down on all that is not to try to silence voices you don't want to hear.
The problem is that you don't see things any way but the one which suits you, to support your constantly posting crap.
I see things according to my belief in the importance of truth, and evidence, etc, and according to my standards of morality, probity, honesty, and decency, etc.
Maybe you don't think norms apply to you, or you just want to constantly have YOUR opinion on every ****** post out there because you think you matter more than the rest of us, or something.
I have always, scrupulously, adopted the attitude that if it's OK for someone to post Opinion A it is equally OK for me to criticise it, and/or post Opinion B-not-A.
News for you, you need to wind your neck in because people get fed up with your repeated annoying posts.
I'm sure they do. I get fed up with repeated posts of bigotry and prejudice and hate. Why should it be me that has to wind their neck in and not the posters of bigotry and prejudice and hate?
You can't say the mods haven't deleted LOADS of them, can you?
QED you are wrong according to the norms/rules which are here.
If you think the rules should be different, find another forum. They aren't going to change for a persistent habitual, self-important troll.
There you go again, misrepresenting views you don't want to read as cynically posting just to anger people and provoke emotional responses for my own amusement.
And if the "norms" here are as you believe, then the site should have the bolls to say so.
It should clearly and publicly state that its ethos is bigotry, and racial/religious hate, and the posting of lies, and that people who object to those things are not welcome.
