Boiler room....vent

My gas boiler is situated in a purpose built room with a flue going up a chimney(sleeve inserted) . There is a small window in this room which is permanently open. The opening catch is screwed down to prevent it from being closed.....does this comply with current legislation please..?
it has been like this since beinging built some 30 yrs ago !!

The boiler is an Ideal Mexico 65000 btu Gas.....free standing...with chimney...

the boiler room is 6ft X 6ft , normal height, window 30 ins wide, 10 inched deep....does this make a difference ?

You don't need the size of the boiler room.

The ventilation is high and low level, and a window in the middle don't count, not even for the old regs.
