Notice the bags filled with straw in the chimneys.Saves losing your tools and dropping and muck down the flues. We have taped up the vents inside the flats to stop any soot coming out. I got two lads afew years ago to knock achimney down and they threw most of the bricks down the flues,And they hadn't covered the fireplaces up!!! Cost me a fortune in cleaning bills!!!!
