That's right he didn't charge anything to diagnose the problem. I'm going to give another engineer a call and see if he considers that it could just be the diaphragm. I'm not sure I have the know how to fix it myself. Cheers, Daniel.

No the engineer just pulled the front off looked at it for a minute or two then said we'd need a new Diverter Valve. So the Diaphragm should be checked/replaced first? Perhaps I should have a look round for someone else to take a look at it, sounds like this guy may be suggesting unnecessary...
