I wish I knew more about the system to know whether it is/isn't a gravity hot water system! So, would I need to call a plumber or an electrician to sort it out or is it part of the back boiler in which case I guess I'd need a gas guy to come out? Thanks ever so much for your advice.
Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately I am not at home at the moment to check the valves and power breaker but I can say that it doesn't happen with the water being heated, it is only happening now we have our heating on too.
