Here's a picture of the problem. Despite using the close up facility on the camera, the picture doesn't show up the filler bleeding through the Dulux retail magnolia very well (if at all).
I hope someone can reply, as I'm painting the room tomorrow, and I'm not sure how to hide the filler...

Sorry to hijack, I too have had this problem of filler showing through - even if I thin the emulsion down and brush it on the filler a couple of times (and wait to dry) prior to rolling. I've used lots and lots of filler (easi-fill actually). Can you recommend if an oil based undercoat should be...
Hi All,
Spent the last few hours trawling previous posts on this. Replaced a rad earlier (after decorating), but one of the valve nuts is just a little damp when I apply tissue paper to it. It doesn't drip. Wary of tightening further, in case I do damage.
I seem to remember having this...
Hi again,
Thanks all for posting up the replies. I knew about the collars - I'll have to pop to my local screwfix and pick some up. Not sure if the skirting is going to be in the way (see pic). If so, I might need to get my installer back. I also need some of those clips on the rad bracket as...
Hi Peeps,
I've attached a picture showing where the CORGI has installed a TRV for a rad. It's a similar situation for the lockshield and all the other rads.
I want to fill, sand and paint the hole AFTER attaching the rad so there is movement in the 10mm micorbore to help with attaching the...
Just had a Riva Advance Combi 32KW HE installed by a Corgi in June.
Got fed up with the flow of the Gainsborough 9.5KW electric shower. I've taken tees from the hot and cold and routed the pipework to the corresponding hot and cold inlets of the Mira Pace.
I followed the instructions and...

Okay, just got back from Warrington to buy my good lady a cake stand. What's that got to do with plumbing? Er, nowt - I'm just excited that I got her a marvellous cake stand for Christmas and I just know she's been after a quality one for months.
I...
Er, let me hold off on the trip to the Merchants for a second.
The existing pump is labelled "circulating pumps" CP63.
Will my DAB VA55/130 head go onto the existing pump (as ChrisR was talking about)? That'd save me a lot of bother. Maybe I can just pack the leaking gate valve (that's...
Hi GasGuru, EliteHeat, ChrisR
Well, I must say there are some extremely knowledgeable and helpful people on here. The least we amateurs can do is tip our hat to the professionals.
I've been reading this forum for a while now, and I recognise your names and know there is a sense of real...
