    Living room pendant wiring dilemma

My builder took the light fitting off and then put the connections as they were but into wago boxes. If it helps there is another light fitting in the same room, and the switch is a 2 gang switch

    Plasterboard edge bead?

Thank you both for your feedback. Below is my plan based on your suggestions. Caulk the top edge, and angle bead where it connects to the timber, mainly because I am struggling to source some J beads and I have plenty of angle beads laying around - so since it is fit for purpose then I may as...

(The overall width is 500mm which includes 150mm shelf overhang - see 2nd image). This would not work with your suggestion as the...

Hi, I get the keys to my new home in 2 weeks time :giggle:. I have that week off work so will use it to do a tray ceiling project. I am doing as much pre-planning as I can so I can get stuck in straight away. I plan to build a timber frame around the periphery of the room - see below (50cm...

    Reliable dimmers

Hi, I appreciate this is an old thread but I am planning on using the Varilight V-Pro 120W switch for 11 LED downlights. I know the recommended is 10, but I need the smaller 2-gang switch, the higher power 2 gang switch is only available in the wider size. Which one did you opt for for your 15...
