Help swapping standard 3 gang + 1 gang switches for lightwave dimmers...

I sorted it out today. It just took a little bit of time to figure out which wires were coming and going from where. Everything is working perfectly now, the Landing/Hallway is running an automated connection and everything still isolates correctly at the fuse box regarding upstairs...

Help swapping standard 3 gang + 1 gang switches for lightwave dimmers...

Thank you for the reply, It's the first time I've been through this myself hoss. I have the Link Plus app and understand if I can get power to them and treat them as standalone switches I can then use automation to link them together. There are 3 or 4 blue wires behind but they all currently...

Help swapping standard 3 gang + 1 gang switches for lightwave dimmers...

Hello all, I have a few lightwave switches around the house and have finally got around to getting hold of a 3 gang version. I am swapping out a standard 3 gang switch which is in the hallway, this currently controls the hallway lights, the stair lights and also the upstairs landing lights...

Couple of PIR insulation board questions

In terms of building regs its the thickness that counts, I did a bunch of research for my renovation and came to the conclusion aslong as you buy the required thickness they are all pretty much the same, just get whichever is cheapest.

Must be time for an update!! Bringing us up to now, late February 2019. Moved in last week, 625 days since purchase, what a journey and monumental learning experience it has been. I'll keep my eye out for any movement this far down the line rather than ripping the lot out to add a second trimmer. If I'm ever crazy enough (I arn't) to take on a project like this again I will be sure to heed your advice.

    Full DIY House Renovation...

Ah haha well spotted, that is merely a temporary thing as that is now the new location for the soil pipe (it best suited the new bathroom layout being there rather than around the corner originally), and the gutter downpipe will be located elsewhere. The soil pipe vent will eventually be placed...

Thankyou, you will be surprised what you can achieve, just make sure to do plenty of research online, if you need any advice feel free to PM me. Thankyou, I will add a photo soon. It's basically a recessed extractor and the vent pipe runs between the floor joists until it exits the external...

    thickness of silicone

A properly applied, thin bead is no more or less prone to leakage than a thick bead (and looks a damn sight better). Aslong as you are filling the gap any excess on the outside is just waste.

Thankyou! Not at all, I got it from Stairbox.com, they have an online glass balustrade builder where you pop in your measurements and it gives you a price based on your selections. Came out at around £750 delivered which I felt was very fair (fitted it myself though), highly recommend them.
