Baxi 105e heats by pressure pin rising when DHW runs

So I changed the diaphragm, changed the gland nut and greased the pin with silicone grease. Forgot to check the small hole in the diverter valve. The pin rises perfectly but sometimes does not go back down fully causing the 59 degree light to flash. Pushing it down and resetting the boiler sorts...

Baxi 105e heats by pressure pin rising when DHW runs

Hi, When we turn on the hot water the heating pressure pin from the diverter valve rises at the same time as the DHW pressure pin. Sometimes the 60° triangle error led flashes. There is also a slight leak from the heating pressure pin. Do I need to just replace the heating diaphragm or do you...

    Expansion vessel or heat exchanger

You’re right. I undid the shower hose, it was broken inside with part of the hose mis-aligned. Lined it up, seems to work now. Will order a new hose. Should have thought of this before!!

    Expansion vessel or heat exchanger

Hi, I have a Baxi 105e installed in the bathroom the same room as 1 of our showers. When running the shower in this bathroom, the boiler works perfectly. Our ensuite shower was working perfectly until last week, when the water pressure in this shower started to drop when showering. It’s ok at...

    Baxi 105e won't ignite

We went out for a few hours, left the heating running. Came home, tried the hot water without touching the boiler it worked! All works now.

    Baxi 105e won't ignite

Yes HW light comes on. Pin comes out fully, boiler tries to switch from heating to hot water then the low pressure light comes on.

    Baxi 105e won't ignite

Yes we have CH but no DHW. The pin is coming out and fully pushing the DHW switch

    Same fault for DHW

    Baxi 105e won't ignite

Thanks. Doublecheck the pump proofing switch, the pin was coming up and engaging the metal of the proofing switch but not pushing it enough make the switch work. Then in the metal slightly has temporarily resolved this, I will order the switch. Still no hot water though, this is definitely...

    Baxi 105e won't ignite

Yes there is pressure, just under 1 bar. Sorry what is the pump proving switch? Both the CH & DHW demand micro switches seem to work correctly

    Baxi 105e won't ignite

Hi, I've just replaced the diverter valve diaphragms. When trying to restart the boiler for either CH or DHW, the micro switches engage, the pump runs but the boiler does not ignite. The 'Fault on Pump or Low Pressure' light flashes. Have restarted the boiler a few times, still get the flashing...

Baxi 105e leaking around heat exchanger

Hi, I had a leak where the pipes join the heat exchanger. I removed and cleaner the heat exchanger refitting with 4 new seals. The leak is much less now but still leaking. The heat exchange is flat and securely in place. I can’t see why it’s still leaking. Wondering whether to repeat again...

Do glowing LEDs use much electricity?

Yes it’s a light with built leds and our. Connected to a 2 switch in door. I think ericmark is right. It’s a cheap light. As long as the glow isn’t consuming too much energy I’ll leave it as it

Do glowing LEDs use much electricity?

Our outside lights have been replaced with 2 18w LED lights (LEDs are part of the circuit board) with pir’s. When the light switch is on the lights permanently glow. Will this use much electricity? I can live with the glow providing it’s not consuming too much
