Thanks for your replys but the problem has solved itself, I gave it another try this afternoon and it's working fine (touch wood).

After I replaced a faulty radiator my powermax 155 boiler is not heating the water or the central heating, it seems to be making all the right noises except for that the burner is not igniting, all the radiators are full with water & there is water coming out of the hot water taps but no heat...
