thanks - will check tomorrow. assume i looking for arrows in both directions if bi-directional?

how can i tell whether the trv is bi-directional?

seems to - the rad heats up ok.

i think i may have a radiator with the valves on the wrong ends. the trv is to the right of the rad but the left hand side with the lock valve is the warmer. if i am correct, i will need to reverse the positions of the trv and lock valves. how do i complete this task? thanks, andy
