Bathroom sink waste: Lever plug not enough movement in rod

on closer inspection there is in fact gurgling. quite bad gurgling too. it gurgles from the basin at end of drainage and also from the bath. looks like i will need an anti-vac bottle trap plus getting the unslotted waste. maybe these two factors will increase the drainage.

Bathroom sink waste: Lever plug not enough movement in rod

yeah but only after quite a bit of air releases. after filling it up i pull the plug out and it will release a fairly large amount of air and then drain normally, no gurgling, creating a decent swirl unitl its drained fully.

seco services/ do you have an idea about my air bubble issue?

Bathroom sink waste: Lever plug not enough movement in rod

ok, on further investiogation the sklow draining could be something entirely different. when i opent the plug it starts to drain normal speed but then stops. if i pull the plug up slightly it releases an air buble. once the air bubble releases it drains properly. is there a reason why...

Bathroom sink waste: Lever plug not enough movement in rod

thanks for the reply but i think your missing the point. at the back of the tap there is a slot which the plug lever handle goes into. this is only 1" long so the handle can only go up and down an inch. its limited. if it went an inch and a half it would be fine.

Bathroom sink waste: Lever plug not enough movement in rod

yeah. many many times to the nth degree. this is what i'm trying to explain, there just isnt enough movement in the back of the tap. when i disconnect the vertical rod and manually pull the horizontal one up and down it works perfectly. but the vertical rod at its extents doesnt have...
