No! Never did that change! Wife now wants a double oven and an electric hob. Know I have to run a separate supply for the hob, just wanted to know if I could use the existing 2.5 mm supply for the oven. Cable runs under upstairs floorboards and then drop down behind kitchen wall. Think...
Will shortly be installing a new double oven with 5.0kW max load. Supply cable runs for approx 15m under floor boards and behind kitchen wall from Consumer Unit. What size supply cable should I use? Would 2.5mm T&E suffice?
Not just taking a guess! No 13amp socket with cooker unit. Current cooker unit on direct supply from CU via a 20A MCB (and 2.5mm cable). Understand I will have to change the supply cable size, just need to know whether to use 6mm or 10mm.
Am replacing existing oven & hob with Oven rated at 4.2kW and Hob rated at 6.6kW. Consumer unit is approx 20m from cooker unit. I think I need 10mm cable supply to cooker unit (and 45amp MCB), but would a 6mm cable suffice?
Grateful for some advise.
Thanks
