Thanks powell30 I was afraid that might be the answer, which is a shame as it is an old solid brass tap, which is fixed to the wall, I have not seen any around at all. :cry:

Hi Can any one help? I have a shower hose type mixer tap on my bath When I turn the divert handle to shower, a small amount of water comes out of the shower but most still comes out of the tap! Hopeless for hair washing! Any bright ideas will be gratefully received!
