Thanks a lot for a quick reply. I shall pass this one to my engineer and see if that cures the problem. It does seem to happen mostly when the heating is on and the hot water tap is used. i shall report back.

Broad Rameha Avanta 28c. I have the above boiler, just 5 years old and out of guarantee. Code E13 has been occuring quite a bit. according to the engeneers it seems like a new heat exchanger. I would like a second opinion from someone familiar with this boiler before spending a load of money...
