radiators all stay stone cold

oooh, another thought, could the heat exchanger be responsible somehow?

so where is the hot water going? Hot water tap is open, boiler fires up, cold water comes out of the tap. What is the boiler heating up, and if it is water, where is it all going to?

I have not noticed the radiators getting warm, but will run a test tomorrow morning once the radiators go off.

Assuming that the diverter is faulty, would the radiator water not be diverted into the hot water system. I mean, if it diverts one way should it not also from time to time divert the other way too?
