Gavinda shes got immersion heater Pipes cold to hw cylinder going in and coming out-still think is is blockage in tank or in pipe from boiler do you think this makes sense.If you have given enough advice thaks for your helpBest wishes Anne

Bster thank you there is water in taps but it is cold.There are no diverter valves in system. It is 32 years old.Only a drain cock next to pump.

Will the cleaner be powerful enough to clear a sludge blockage between boiler and hot water cylinder or sludge around coil in tank - I think thats what I mean!!

no hot water radiators hot on water priority upstairs presume this is gravity .Boiler fires up then starts kettling swiches off.Pipe cold to cylinder.Will cleaner dislodge sludge or is that too much to ask a 30 year old system
