BLOCKAGE IN PIPES

PLEASE CAN YOU HELP. MY MUM OF 80 HAS NO HOT WATER -
BAXI 552 BOILER
NO VENTS
IF WE DRAIN AND THEN USE FLEXIBLE WIRE TO TRY TO DISLODGE BLOCKAGE BETWEEN BOILER AND CYLINDER .WILL THIS POSSIBLY WORK
PLEASE ADVISE WE ARE STRUGGLING

so your getting cold water out of the hot taps?

no hot water radiators hot on water priority upstairs presume this is gravity .Boiler fires up then starts kettling swiches off.Pipe cold to cylinder.Will cleaner dislodge sludge or is that too much to ask a 30 year old system

a cleaner will not really work if the boiler keeps switching off as it needs circulation to 'do its stuff'.

one or some of the more experianced guys on here will give you some more suggestions though so dont do anything yet!

Boiler only switches off on water priority ok on heating though
